Jenny has been one of the best things that has happened to me and my family. I have four kids (preschool through tween) and was feeling overwhelmed. The mom rage was real and podcasts and books felt like scratching the surface. I found Jenny and over the course of about 8 months, things are so much better. She helped me do the hard work of really seeing my kids and myself and finding strategies that worked for each of them. There were two amazing parts of what Jenny does: 1 understanding the kids, their motivations, their needs and my own stuff. 2 practical plans, tools, concrete and tangible strategies that help connect and work with each kid. Jenny is absolutely amazing. I found her at a difficult point in my parenting journey and she gave me the confidence to find positive ways to interact with my child. I learned so much from her about meeting my son where he is at and working together to find strategies that work for both us. By the end of our sessions, I found I didn’t have as many “problems” to troubleshoot but more so building on the strategies we already had in place. Could not recommend her enough!

Finding Jenny was one of the best things we ever did for our family. She has become a vital sounding board for concerns, plans, and ongoing communication with each other, which it turns out, is not so easy. Jenny is very knowledgeable, pragmatic, and skillful in helping us figure out problems and in allaying fears when there are no problems—“turning down the shark music” when we are over reacting. Jenny was an invaluable resource for me. She approaches coaching from the perspective of building the parent-child connection, as the foundation for everything else. She starts with the things that are working well, and figures out ways to build those up and strengthen the relationship. That in turn lays the groundwork for tackling the harder stuff. I found Jenny caring and thoughtful and full of good ideas!

With three tween/teenagers in the house, we needed new tools and support to help our family life feel and work better. We worked with Jenny for over three months and during our time she expertly and kindly helped us try to understand the root of upset and conflict and test out new strategies to parent more effectively. The constant thread was focusing on finding ways to connect with our children and move away from shame and blame. Jenny was a great listener, empathetic and always had LOTS of tangible ideas to try every week. She was professional and organized and my husband and I both feel we have a broader toolbox to help navigate the teen years.
